Sagar Puranik leads growth and business development initiatives for Welspun One across the logistics, industrial, and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) sectors. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategic expansion through new business development, project feasibility and investment structuring, while overseeing leasing and client partnerships. He works closely with government authorities, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders to enable project execution, secure regulatory approvals, and develop sustainable commercial models that strengthen the company’s industrial and logistics platform.
Sagar brings nearly two decades of experience across ports, logistics infrastructure, supply chain, and free trade zones. Prior to joining Welspun One, he was with DP World, where he led business development for industrial and logistics parks and free trade zones, securing and managing large-scale FTWZ projects and onboarding global customers. Earlier, at Arshiya Limited, he played a key role in driving business development and marketing for FTWZs, introducing new commercial models, leading sales teams, and securing marquee clients for large warehousing and logistics developments.
His experience spans strategic asset acquisition, government liaison, project financing, and the development of large-scale logistics and infrastructure platforms.
Sagar holds a Master’s in Management Studies (Finance) from Welingkar Institute of Management and is a Cost Accountant from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
