Ravinder joined Cargill in January 2024 as the Managing Director, Cargill Animal Nutrition & Health, South Asia. In June 2025, he took over as Country President for Cargill in India. As the Country President, Ravi leads strategic direction and growth for Cargill in India. He enables strategic collaboration and an integrated approach across enterprises and functions to accelerate Cargill’s growth and footprint in India. He also supports engagement with Governments to drive various initiatives across businesses.
Ravi oversees Cargill’s Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) business in South Asia, ensuring the delivery of Cargill’s nutritional core into high-quality and innovative nutrition solutions through renowned brands like Purina, Provimi & Vetcare. He leverages Cargill’s global R&D and technology to address local agricultural challenges in animal nutrition and improve farm efficiencies. With a commitment to responsible operations, Ravi emphasizes on the importance of safe, sustainable practices while enriching the lives of farmers and communities.
Spanning a career of over 33 years, Ravi has spent more than 28 years is in the field of Crop Protection Chemicals & Seeds. Before joining Cargill, he was the Managing Director for South Asia and Southeast Asia at Corteva Agrisciences (DuPont). Over the last three decades, Ravi has handled numerous senior level positions including Regional and Global marketing positions in DuPont that included market creation and team competency enhancements.
Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the National Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology, both in India. He currently resides in Bengaluru, Karnataka with his family.
