Dr. Murthy Remilla is a Senior Scientist in ISRO headed Project Management at Human Space Flight Group of Gaganyaan Project at UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bangalore till recently, with an experience of 35 years in Tech-commercial and Managerial domains.<\/p>\n
Worked earlier as National Coordinator, National Database for Emergency Management (NDEM), NRSC Hyderabad following a 12 year stint as Deputy Director (International Business Development) at Antrix Corporation and Launch pad of SHAR centre.<\/p>\n
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication, MBA in Marketing and a PhD in International Business Research from IISc, Bangalore.<\/p>\n
Worked in various capacities in various ISRO centres and gained rich experience in the field of Remote Sensing Data Reception, applications and International marketing of Indian Satellite Data.<\/p>\n
Associated with Telemedicine Society of India (TSI) from 2001 for reaching the benefits of Technology to the common man at the grassroots level of society and currently holding National Honorary Secretary at TSI and worked towards brining up 12 chapters as Secretary across India. Worked towards the finalisation and release of Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (TMPG) by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in March 2020 a handy tool to tackle Corona in India.<\/p>\n
Has more than 45 National and international Publications to his credit in Remote Sensing, Marketing Management, Telemedicine, Tele-education and Societal Applications of Space Technology.<\/p>\n
Committed towards the application of Benefits of Space and modern technologies to the man at grassroot level and working with many NGOs and Professional Societies towards this including expansion of Telemedicine and Tele-education Services in rural remote and distant areas of India and teaching the space technologies to Student community.<\/p>\n
Towards his passion for Telugu, Completed MA Telugu from AU and is currently a Telugu Research Scholar at TDR-HUB. Conducted International Telugu Conference at Andhra University in February 2023 and Adi Kavi Nannaya University in February 2024, along with Telugu Departments and other likeminded Organisations.<\/p>\n
Loves Cycling as a part of Citizen Social Responsibility (new CSR).<\/p>\n
